Fun-in-the-Sun

And then summer began:
Breahna really wants her own bow. She loves using her brothers:

I love all the little baby milestones. Evelyn is starting to grab and hold onto objects:
She loves attention and always wants to be hanging out with someone holding her, but not snuggling:
It's fun trying to figure out the different preferences of each kid. Evelyn wants to be swaddled with her right arm out:
 She is growing so quickly:
The boys love playing games on the computer:
This is pretty much all we saw of Jake Mon-Sat as he traversed through his senior project. (he finished a week ago - yeah!)
 Such a happy girl!
She is often chewing on her bottom lip. With her huge eyes she looks like a Cabbage Patch doll
4 months old!

Then came the end of Preschool for Alexander:
It was a water picnic party so he wore his swim suit to school. We later joined him for lunch and lots of fun in the sun. I didn't think we would be outside so I wasn't prepared to avoid sunburns, so glad the school had sunscreen!
The next day we went to the annual air show. We will for sure come back every year for this show. Everyone loves it. I took the kids by myself since Jake was trying to get his project wrapped up.
It was a cool, windy and drizzly morning:

Last O' May

Here's the last bit of May:
This guy went to his last day of Kindergarten.
It's amazing how much a kid can change in just 9 months. Here's a first day and last day:

He has learned and grown a lot through this year of Kindergarten. Kennedy Elementary was an awesome school and Mrs. Jackson was a great teacher, along with all his 1-on-1 helpers, speech therapist and other therapists that helped him thrive. It took a lot of work but in the end he was reading and most importantly, writing. With a lot of help and not quite legible but he was writing!
We are so proud of Kaleb and all he accomplished and learned.

We finished off May by going to a local community event. It had camels and other farm animals to pet, and lots of bounce houses and slides:
and lastly; all 4 of the kids have worn these pajamas and laid in this swing. Jake's sister Shawna gave us these pajamas and my friend Holly gave us the swing. The gifts that really held out to the end and was enjoyed by all.
